This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information. It is intended to explain our information-handling practices. The terms governing your use of the App are set out separately in our Terms of Service.
You Life is designed to keep your information on your device. The App does not require an account, does not run advertising, does not use analytics tracking, and does not send your activity data to us or to any external server. In short: your data stays on your phone.
When you use the App, the following information may be created and stored locally on your device using your device’s app storage:
This information is not transmitted to the developer or to any external server by the App. It remains under your control on your device.
The App offers an optional voice-input feature for logging activities. If you use this feature:
You can decline or revoke microphone permission at any time in your device settings. The rest of the App can still be used by typing entries manually.
The App itself does not require an account and does not collect personal information or personal identifiers through in-app functionality. In particular, the App does not collect:
The App does not contain third-party advertising or analytics software development kits that collect your activity data.
If you contact us by email or another support channel, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message contents, screenshots, device information, or app-related details.
We use this information only to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, improve the App, and maintain appropriate records of support communications.
Information stored locally in the App is used only to provide App features to you, including displaying your logs, generating your timeline and statistics, organising categories, and supporting voice-to-text activity logging.
The developer does not access or use your locally stored activity information.
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your activity entries, categories, markers, timestamps, or settings, because the App does not transmit that information to us.
If you send information to us for support, we may disclose it only where necessary to respond to your request, comply with law, or protect the App, users, or our legal rights.
Your activity data is retained locally on your device for as long as you keep the App installed and choose to keep your entries. You can delete individual entries within the App.
Uninstalling the App or clearing the App’s storage deletes the local copy of data stored by the App on that device. Device-level backups, if enabled, may be controlled by your device, operating system, Google account, or device manufacturer. We do not control those backups.
Because the App stores data locally and we do not keep a copy of your activity data, we cannot recover data that is deleted, corrupted, or lost from your device.
Your information is stored within the App’s private storage area on your device and is protected by your device’s own security features, such as your screen lock and operating-system protections.
No method of electronic storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, operating system, and backups.
The App is not directed at children under the age required for consent in their jurisdiction. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your activity data is stored locally and remains within your control, you can access, change, or delete it yourself through the App and your device settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through a notice in the App.
